BM0253 Shelving System, Configuration 3 by Børge Mogensen for Carl Hansen & Søn. 

Designed by Børge Mogensen in 1953, the BM0253 Shelving system embraces the Danish designer’s concept of “building furniture”, which is the idea that furniture should be simple enough to withstand aesthetic trends whilst remaining flexible enough to adapt to the changing needs of people and spaces.

The minimalist modular shelving system consists of veneered shelves of varying sizes, a wooden cabinet, a tubular steel frame with varying lengths, all of which can be combined to suit the user’s needs.
