Designed in 1938 for theĀ guild exhibition alongsideĀ Niels Vodder’sĀ cabinets, the Grasshopper chair was a sculptural and unique design, in contrast to other work displayed at the show. In order to avoid a loss,Ā Finn Juhl bought the two chairs he had designed.Ā
Until now they have not been in production. An iconic chair which markedĀ Finn Juhl’s first attempt at expressing artistic freedom in the form of furniture.
