The Little Mother sofa is an elegant curved sofa for cosy living spaces.

Its history is tied up in a story of romance and art; Finn Juhl’s master joiner Niels Vodder gave the compact sofa to his daughter, the wife of Frank Jæger. Jæger was a poet and used the sofa as a place of work, theorising and philosophising the world on it. The couple were friends with the illustrator Jørgen Mogensen, who would later base a comic on their home and lives. Published in the Politiken, “The Poet and the Little Mother” became an icon of Danish folk culture, from 1950 to 2003.
